Mobile Device Surveying for Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyposis

About this study

The purpose of this study is to gather periodic quality of life data using the validated SNOT-22 protocol and/or other validated metrics using a free iPhone application for patients with Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyposis (CRSwNP).

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:  

  • Adult patients (≥ 18 years old) 
  • Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyposis (CRSwNP)
  • Access to a recent iOS device (such as iPhone, iPad or iPod touch)
  • Willing to follow-up with the Mayo Clinic (in person) for a minimum of 1 year.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Physical or cognitive disabilities preventing use of an iOS device
