About this study

The overall goal is to investigate the value of ultrasound imaging of tumor vasculature as a new biomarker for early treatment evaluation.

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Male and female patients.
  • Age ≥ 18 years old.
  • Have hepatic tumor or metastasis.
  • Undergoing medical therapy.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with unreliable ultrasound images due to conditions such as fatty liver or poor ultrasound imaging window
  • Adults lacking capacity to consent
  • Vulnerable subjects such as prisoners
