miRNA Expression in Aneurysm Healing

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine if vascular remodeling may be impacted by concomitant coiling with flow diverter therapy. We will compare micro-RNA markers between groups of patients treated with and without concomitant coiling with flow diversion therapy.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with Aneurysms is one of the following groups:
    • Group 1- Aneurysms treated with flow diverters alone
    • Group 2- Aneurysms treated with platinum coils alone
    • Group 3- Aneurysms treated with flow diverters and concomitant coiling
  • Age 21-80

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Pregnant women
  • Children
  • Vulnerable subjects
