Tobacco Dependence Intervention Knowledge, Practices, and Attitudes among Registered Nurses

About this study

The specific aim of this study is to determine if the implementation of a tobacco dependence intervention, among registered nurses on Gonda 7 caring for ambulatory surgical patients, results in a change in the knowledge, practices, and attitudes of patient tobacco use assessment as compared to baseline. 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Registered nurses providing care to ambulatory surgical patients on Gonda 2, 7, and 15
