A Study to Collect Long-Term Data on Pediatric Cutaneous Mastocytosis

About this study

The purpose of this study is to develop a registry to collect long-term data on patients with pediatric cutaneous mastocytosis, and develop better knowledge of the timing, symptoms, resolution or progression of the disease, and predictive markers of its severity.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients will be included if they have a history of diagnosed pediatric MPCM
    • Diagnosed before age 15
    • Five or more individual lesions
  • Within the past 25 years

 

Exclusion Criteria 

  • Inability to speak or read English
  • Diffuse cutaneous mast cell disease
  • Subjects with disabilities that prevent them from answering interview or questionnaire questions
  • >15 years of age when diagnosed with MPCM
