A Study to Compare Remote versus Conventional Education for Point of Care Uiltrasonography

About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a remote point of care ultrasonography education program and remote hands-on coaching, compared to the conventional program.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Learners
    • Critical care medicine fellows who will have undergone the Point of Care Ultrasonography workshop in July of 2016 and 2017
  • Instructors
    • Mayo Clinic critical care physicians who specialize in Point of Care Ultrasonography education
