A Study to Develop Processes for Tissue Growth for Use in Reconstruction Surgeries

About this study

The purpose of this study is to develop the procedures for the growth of specific cells and tissues needed for reconstruction surgeries of the head and neck using the waste tissues of other surgeries.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Men and women.
  • Undergoing abdominal liposuction or a head and neck surgical procedure.
  • Minimum age of 18.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Anyone not meeting inclusion criteria.
  • Pregnant women do not typically undergo the above procedures and are excluded as such (if deemed medically appropriate for surgery, pregnancy itself is not an exclusion criteria).
