Patient Appointments

As a research-focused center, the Rehabilitation Medicine Research Center itself doesn't provide direct patient care. However, Mayo Clinic offers a wide range of clinical services for patients with disabilities and rehabilitation needs.

Both patients and medical professionals can request appointments and referrals to Mayo Clinic for rehabilitation medicine-related treatment and services.

Mayo Clinic works with hundreds of insurance companies and is an in-network provider for millions of people. In most cases, Mayo Clinic doesn't require a physician referral. Some insurers require referrals or may have additional requirements for certain medical care. We recommend that patients contact their insurance providers to verify benefits and eligibility for services provided by Mayo Clinic. All appointments are prioritized on the basis of medical need.
