The leaders of the Evidence-Based Practice Research Program at Mayo Clinic are:

Dr. Murad is a public health and general preventive medicine specialist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Murad is also a professor of medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. As a clinical epidemiologist, Dr. Murad studies how evidence is generated, synthesized, appraised and applied in order to promote shared decision-making and optimal patient care.

Dr. Wang is a professor of health services research at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Wang studies how current best medical evidence can be used to help patients, health care providers, policymakers and researchers make informed decisions about health care and delivery of health services.
