SUMMARY

Eliot J. Martin, P.A.-C., is a physician assistant who provides patient-centric surgical and clinical care in all aspects of head and neck surgical oncology. His primary research interests are in deintensifying treatment for oropharynx cancer, optimizing treatment outcomes related to salivary gland neoplasia, and progressing survivorship care for patients with surgically treated head and neck cancers. Mr. Martin also has an interest in advance practice provider advocacy.

Significance to patient care

Mr. Martin is actively involved in clinical trials investigating de-escalation therapy for human papillomavirus-affiliated oropharynx cancer. He is also exploring clinical methods to assure that patients treated for head and neck cancers are afforded the best post-treatment survivorship care plan with a focus on quality-of-life stability and improvement.
