This research is being done to see if blood and spinal fluid can be used for future diagnostic tests to help diagnose, treat and give prognosis to patients with inflammatory CNS diseases.

The purpose of this study is to extend enrollment and follow up of participants in a registry for inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system.

The purpose of this investigation is to systematically study the efficacy of Tecfidera in those individuals who possess incidental white matter anomalies within the brain following a MRI study that is performed for a reason other than for the evaluation of MS (multiple sclerosis).

The purpose of this study is a comprehensive review of the clinical and radiologic history in these patients as well as review of neuropathology in deceased patients, where available.  The goal of this research is to investigate the hypothesis that this presentation represents a spatially limited form of CNS inflammatory demyelinating disease.

The purpose of the study is to learn more about inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system (CNS) by collecting patient information, blood sample (which contain a person’s genes, DNA) and other available tissue samples.

The aim is to establish a repository consisting of clinical information, radiological data, serum, peripheral blood lymphocytes, plasma, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), and tissue specimens collected prospectively from patients with CNS diseases and controls.
