The Pathology Research Core serves as a shared resource within Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The Pathology Research Core offers histology, immunostaining and imaging services to support basic, translational and epidemiological cancer research programs in the Cancer Center.
Services available in the Pathology Research Core include:
- Preparation of histology slides for microscopy
- Tissue microarray construction
- Immunostaining
- Digital image capture and analysis
- Preparation of tissues for nucleic acid or protein extraction
Pathology services in the Pathology Research Core are available to all researchers in industry and academia. The core provides an extensive range of pathology lab services.
