Biographical summary
Leslie A. Kummer, M.D., M.P.H. is a primary care pediatrician with special interest in breastfeeding medicine. Her clinical focus includes:
- Preventive care, including well child exams and developmental surveillance and screening
- Evaluation and care of acute illnesses
- Management of chronic conditions, including adolescent depression and anxiety, ADHD and asthma
- Inpatient well newborn care
- Evaluation and management of breastfeeding and lactation challenges
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kummer is actively involved in education, research, and quality improvement in the Division of Community Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.
