Biographical summary
Dr. English is a board-certified neurologist with specialty interest in cerebrovascular disease. His clinical focus includes:
- Expertise in the acute management of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke
- Leveraging telemedicine and new technologies for the treatment of acute neurologic emergencies
- Cerebrovascular disorders including carotid artery disease, intracranial atherosclerosis, cervical arterial dissection, vascular malformations, cerebral small vessel disease, cerebral amyloid angiopathy, vasculitis, and brain aneurysms
- Complex clinical decisions following cardioembolic stroke including atrial fibrillation management, left atrial appendage closure, and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure
In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. English is actively involved in both education and clinical research.
