  • Prospective Evaluation of Chronic Pancreatitis for Epidemiologic and Translational Studies Rochester, MN

    The Coordinating and Data Management Center (CDMC) at MD Anderson Cancer will be responsible for the coordination and data management for the Prospective Evaluation of Chronic Pancreatitis for Epidemiologic and Translational Studies (PROCCEED) Study, which is part of the NIH U01 funded Consortium for the Study of Chronic Pancreatitis, Diabetes, and Pancreatic Cancer (CPDPC). No patient enrollment will occur at MDACC. All patient recruitment will occur at external sites that are a part of the CPDPC. The data management systems, auditing, and monitoring effort are supported by the MD Anderson Cancer Center Clinical Research Support Center (CRSC).

  • Clinical and Biological Studies of IgG4-Related Disease (IgG4-RD) Rochester, MN

    The purpose of this study is to determine the proper criteria for diagnosis of IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD), identify strategies to avoid relapse and identify specific factors that underlie IgG4-RD disease pathophysiology.

  • Project Survival-Prospective Biomarker Discovery Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ

    This sample-collection study is open to participants in several categories: healthy volunteers (with or without a family history of pancreatic cancer) and individuals diagnosed with pancreatitis or any stage of pancreatic cancer. All participants will submit urine, saliva and blood samples; pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer patients will also submit tissue samples if biopsy/ies or surgery is part of the care being provided by their doctor. In partnership with Berg Health, LLC, biomarkers will be investigated for potential use in early detection of pancreatic cancer, to determine prognosis of patients, and to find the most appropriate treatments for patients.

  • A Biobank for Pancreatic Diseases Rochester, MN

    To develop a resource (bank) of biospecimens and data collected from individuals with pancreatic diseases to facilitate discovery and development of novel biomarkers of risk and early detection, severity prediction, etiology and response to therapy.
