About this study

The purpose of the study is to conduct cognitive testing of the recently published Mayo Clinic Vestibular Schwannoma Quality of Life (VSQOL) Index.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Able to read English fluently.
  • Can consent for themselves.
  • Age 18 years or older.
  • Diagnosis of vestibular schwannoma (also called acoustic neuroma).
  • Prior enrollment in IRB protocol 21-003059.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Lack of capacity to consent since enrollment in IRB protocol 21-003059.
  • Unable to participate in an interview by Zoom.
