A Study of Sarcoma Tissue Collection

About this study

The purpose of this study is to create a comprehensive system of tissue banking of samples from Mayo Clinic Arizona patients with a clinical diagnosis of sarcoma who will or have undergone a surgical procedure to remove the sarcoma. 

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects at Mayo Clinic Arizona with suspected diagnosis of sarcoma and undergoing diagnostic biopsy or surgical removal of sarcoma
  • Subjects must sign the informed consent to have any tissue saved.
  • If pathology is negative for sarcoma, the patient will be withdrawn from the study and samples will be discarded

  • None.
