A Study of the Impact of Cardiac Rehabilitation after Myectomy Procedure for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

About this study

The purpose of this study is to describe the clinical impact of cardiac rehabilitation in patients who have undergone myectomy for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.  Compare the clinical outcomes of patients who have attended cardiac rehab with those who have not attended after myectomy for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • All adults who have attended cardiac rehabilitation after myectomy procedure for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy at Mayo Clinic

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Patients who have withdrawn permission to use data for research. 
  • Patients < 18 years of age.
