A Study of Multicenter Outcomes in Pediatric Status Epilepticus

About this study

The purpose of this study is to develop a prospective status epilepticus registry among twelve tertiary care pediatric hospitals in the United States focused on standardizing status epilepticus outcome assessments.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria: Age: 1 month - 18 years

Status epilepticus (either continuous or intermittent seizures without return to baseline that last longer than 5 minutes) Consent obtained

Assent obtained (where applicable)

Exclusion Criteria: 

Age: <1 month; >18 years of age

Consent/Assent unable to be obtained
